I've always found it a bit crooked, how (in this industry), if you ask someone for a sample of their work, they always send you their absolute best, highest-budget stuff.  If you're going to be shooting a $50,000 music video - they send you a reel of their million dollar videos instead, knowing full well that they could never deliver you something that looks that high-budget for only a small fraction of that amount.  They just hope to wow you into getting the job, consequences be damned!

I, however, am more honest than that.  I'm not going to show you the most expensive footage on my reel.  That wouldn't give you an idea of the quality of my work.  Anyone can may footage look good when money's no object.  So, to be different, here is some of my earlier, lower-budget work (low, low five figures).

This video holds several distinctions for me:  It was the first music video I ever directed (solo) - and, it was my first Top 3 Video in the charts.  Shot in one day, on a shoestring budget.
