You may have heard about Michael J. Fox's story. And, no, I'm not talking about the Parkinson's. I'm talking about his name. His real name is Michael Fox. But, when he broke into Hollywood, there was already a Michael Fox - so he wasn't allowed to use that name. He had to come up with something different. He decided to use the middle initial J. His middle name doesn't start with a J though. He just thought Michael J. Fox sounded cool.
Well, that brings me to my story... I'm a director (and photographer) and my name is Robert Brooks. But, all my friends call me Bob. And, wouldn't you know it, not one BUT TWO Hollywood Hacks have stolen my names!
