This one's bizarre! I can see the point of 2-ply toilet paper - and the velvetty-softness of 3-ply - but this roll of TP had a small extra ply (approx. 5mm long), formed when the tissue paper folded over during rolling.
5mm out of 115mm! That's an extra 4.3478%! This isn't just plain old two-ply toilet paper - it's 2.04-ply! My anus appreciates that little bit of added comfort.
Personally, I think that the only logical explanation for something as devious and sick as this has got to be: aliens!

In the 50's and 60's, it was common for movie producers to sell an upcoming film solely on the strength of the movie poster (see Attack of the 50 Foot Woman).
That was the case with The Beast with a Million Eyes, a b-grade science-fiction-horror-suspense-thriller from 1955. What little money there was in the budget, was raised by selling the poster to the distributors. Only in this case, they shot all the non-monster scenes first - and then, promptly, ran out of money. They couldn't afford to create a mythic monster with thousands and thousands of eyes (perhaps, even a million) - so they did the next best thing (or, perhaps the worst possible thing), and created a monster with only two eyes!
So, the Beast with a Million Eyes will go down in history as the Beast with Two Eyes! I guess he didn't wear glasses...
