The Paris Catacombs

Length: approx. 300km (180 miles)
Dedicated Police Force: Cataflics
First Residents: 1786

The catacombs are a secret, underground quarry where hundreds of years ago, millions of dead bodies were buried. They literally just took the bones and stacked them in piles - stopping only to make the odd heart (or cross) out of skulls on the wall...
For 500 francs, you can find a drug-dealer who will sneak you into the catacombs in the middle of the night like decrepit spies on a seedy mission.
I have just been told... They are also open to the public for only a few dollars entrance fee. Apparently, there's a guided tour...
The one thing you absolutely have to see in Paris!
Now that we've realized that they were right about Iraq - and we've apologized for the whole 'freedom fries' thing - and eaten our crow... Paris is back IN! And in it is! In style!
But, when you visit Paris - whether it be on vacation, for business, on a trip - be sure you visit one place and one place only...
